Order Celiac Disease Panel from JustLabs for $77. Price includes lab processing at Quest Diagnostics. A one-time $18 collection fee applies per order. No insurance required.
This comprehensive panel screens for celiac disease using multiple antibody markers, providing thorough coverage for both standard and IgA-deficient patients.
Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder where gluten consumption damages the small intestine. This comprehensive panel includes the most reliable blood markers for screening: tissue transglutaminase antibodies (tTG IgA and tTG IgG), deamidated gliadin peptide antibodies (DGP IgA and DGP IgG), and total IgA. The inclusion of both IgA and IgG versions is important because about 2-3% of celiac patients have IgA deficiency, which would cause false negative results on IgA-only tests. This panel catches both standard cases and those with IgA deficiency, making it the most comprehensive screening approach available.

What's Measured
What This Test Measures
This panel measures five markers: tTG IgA and tTG IgG (antibodies against tissue transglutaminase, the primary celiac marker), DGP IgA and DGP IgG (antibodies against deamidated gliadin, a wheat protein component), and Total IgA (to identify IgA deficiency that could affect results).
Who Should Consider This Test
People with gastrointestinal symptoms (bloating, diarrhea, abdominal pain), those with unexplained weight loss or nutritional deficiencies, individuals with a family history of celiac disease, people with other autoimmune conditions (Type 1 diabetes, thyroid disease), those with dermatitis herpetiformis, and anyone considering a gluten-free diet who wants testing first.

When to Get Tested
No fasting is required. IMPORTANT: You must be consuming gluten regularly for at least 2-4 weeks before testing. Starting a gluten-free diet before testing will cause false negative results. If you have already gone gluten-free, consult with your healthcare provider about a gluten challenge.
Understanding Your Results
Positive tTG IgA is the strongest indicator of celiac disease, with positive results typically followed by intestinal biopsy for confirmation. Positive DGP antibodies support the diagnosis. If Total IgA is low or absent, rely on IgG results instead. Negative results make celiac disease unlikely but cannot completely rule it out, especially if gluten intake was limited before testing.
What to Expect
After placing your order, you'll receive an email from Rupa Health (our lab order partner) within 24 business hours to sign a consent form and schedule your blood draw at a Quest Diagnostics location.
The blood draw typically takes just a few minutes. Results are usually available within 3-5 business days and will appear in your secure Justlabs dashboard.
Our results include reference ranges and easy-to-understand indicators showing whether your values are within normal limits.
